I haven't been paying much attention to congressional members recently and I don't know the more obscure and wacko ones. McConnell is obviously the most hated Republican congressman on this side but i'm not sure you could consider him a Trump ally. I would imagine that the logical and less easily influenced on the other side would hate Matt Gaetz or that radical female member whose name eludes me. As a centrist, those are the ones that turn me off with their opinions... at least of the ones that I am exposed to. I imagine that the sheep on the left hate whoever the propaganda tells them is dangerous like Ted Cruz.

Like I said, I'm an anti-authoritarian centrist. I don't want either side's ideology pushed on the public. When Ted Cruz talks about the need for conservative values it sounds like political posturing to me. When Matt Gaetz does it, it sounds like more than just posturing. Take religion for instance. I get this gut feeling that Ted Cruz would talk about the need for prayer and a return to "christian" values but would stick to more liberty-minded legislation. My gut tells me that Gaetz might actually push for their implementation if he thought he had the votes.

While I get the impression that Cruz would go along with his voters if the tide went that way.... I suspect that Gaetz would try to lead them that way.
