On the theology side, I picked up two of Brant Pitre’s series of books. Jesus and the Jewish Roots of Mary, and Jesus the Bridegroom. These are really well done books in that style of the St. Paul Center, where complex biblical theology is presented as accessibly as possible to an adult readership.
I’ve also been dipping back into Julian Jackson’s huge magisterial biography, De Gaulle, which I read too quickly the first time. Other than that, I’ve been tinkering around trying to find useful tasks for AI and to try to get one of them to do useful things automatically. No updates on this process.
